  • Dirt-cheap super phones at PDC

    PDC attendees could get HTC Universal phones for the almost ridiculously low price of $149 + tax + an optional $10 Bluetooth headset. There are no words. Anybody want to make a quick $100-$150 (or even slightly) higher profit? This is so sad, but I am almost groveling. Scratch "almost".

  • What's a Christmas without a good smartphone?

    Linda has a very exhaustive wish list for Santa (for bonus points, quick, calculate the total value of this shopping gluttony). It's all pretty common and good, but one thing irks me. There are two phones on the list: the ho-hum Motorola V505, and the pretty but overpriced Motorola Razr v3. No smartphones...

  • So Motorola did, in fact, throw in the towel

    Uh-oh, bad news for those waiting on Motorola's upcoming MPx phone PDA. Straight from some conference rooms in Seattle comes this bad news: "How does the RAM break down? On the demo unit I saw, 23.79 MB of of the 32 MB is useable after a soft reset with 1.19 MB in use for storage, and 10.17 MB in use...
