Office 12 ink (whatever there is of it)

Larry's reaction to Office 12: "No sign of ink, as a matter of fact, the only sign was that the “ink comments” button in Word is still there, hinting that there’s not any further support." Looks like folks like Josh and Loren will still have to work hard to satisfy all of our Office ink needs.

I agree that as a tablet user I have high expectations for new features in Office 12 for pen specific operations. However I do look forward to the graphical methods of navigation/operation coming in Office 12. I feel that the "ribbon" will offer much more accuracy for the pen input. With current menus and toolbars it is not the easiest to select things accurately; even with a calibrated pen. Larger, graphical selections will brighten the 0ffice experience for tablet uses.
