Lora reminds us that CES is only a month away and mentions some interesting sessions and booths that might be interesting. There is also a discussion about a possible get together during that time frame. And Loren confirms that they are, indeed, attending.

Monica and I will be flying out too, probably arriving in Las Vegas around midday on Friday the 7th and leaving in the afternoon on Sunday the 9th. We're staying at the Hilton by the convention center, so it should be a short commute. It will definitely beat my last year's trip when I flew in for the Tablet PC dinner, attended the show itself for about 40 minutes, and flew right back home. And it was a great time! That and the Comdex Tablet PC dinner last November, but that event was sort of taken away from us this year.

Is anybody up for a geek dinner that Friday or Saturday night? Tablets, SPOT watches, smartphones, and gadgets galore could be up for discussion. After all, it's CES!

In the meantime, since I migrated from Textamerica to Flickr, I uploaded pictures from last year's trip to the new image collection, for anybody that wants to reminisce.

Update: I forgot to add Lora's list of preliminary CES attendees. Looks like Evan is going too. I wonder what sort of drool-worthy hardware toy he'll bring this time.
