This is cool.

But this is cooler...

Windows Live Local has some cool new features. You can now log in using your Microsoft passport and save "Collections" of push pins. I totally wanted this! In the first pic above, I have four push pins showing various points of interest for our upcoming wedding next month in Sedona. I had mapped these points before but wasn't able to save them - which drove me nuts! Now I can save them as a collection and I called this one, "Wedding".
The second picture is showing a Traffic view. Not all cities, understandably, show traffic, so I pulled up New York city because I figured it probably has some massively bad traffic this time of night. The little caution signs show various hazards like the one popped up in the picture. I can't wait til it shows around us so I could check it before going places.
You can share your collections if you like via e-mail, MSN Messenger, or Blogging (in Spaces). Once I've added some more info. to our wedding collection, I plan on sharing it with my Mom and Peter so everyone can see what's going on.
I didn't have to teach night school or attend class tonight. And it's a Tuesday - not a Thursday or Friday! No night school or class for the rest of the week. I can hardly believe it!
After work, I headed home and watched Oprah because Anderson Cooper was on. I'm a huge Anderson Cooper fan. I
made dinner from scratch which I haven't done in ages. I had actually found several recipes from CookingLight.com last week and had picked up the necessary ingredients on Friday, so I was prepared and ready to go. I made Citrus Glazed Chicken with Two-Potato mashed potatoes. Yummy!
Now I have to admit that even though I did make a great dinner, I also made a great...

Mess!
Peter loves it when I make a mess...not!
We've continued to be pretty busy with wedding planning. We picked out wedding rings this past Sunday, and I plan on speaking with the jeweler tomorrow to get that taken care of. We decided to go with Bliss Extraordinary Floral in Sedona for flowers and I'm so excited about that! They will be using roses in my Bouquet from Rose Story Farm in California. These roses are absolutely gorgeous!
Man have we been busy.
The weather is really gross outside - it's pooring rain. I had an errand to run after work, so I took care of that, and then decided to come back to work before teaching night school. I'm here about an hour early, but there didn't seem to be much of a point in driving north of work, to back south of work to go home, to back north to go back to work. Thus, I'm sitting in my classroom, listening to XM radio, and not doing much productive. Hey, my grades are in! Interim grades were due today, and I am proud to report I was on time! Ooohoo!
Geesh, it is absolutely pouring outside. I've never really been one of those people to say "We need the rain". I hate rain, but at least I'm inside so I'm not getting all yucky. However, it did just occur to me that my rain coat is in my car. That's a good place for it to be, right? LOL.
According to my blog, it's been almost an entire month since I wrote last. What's happened since then? Well, we are knee-deep in wedding planning at this point. We've even made some decisions!
Not bad, huh? Now all that's left is to confirm candles (yes - you actually have to that, lol), order flowers, find wedding rings. Oh yes, almost forgot, and get a minister.
Yes, I did just say get a minister. No, we don't have one of those yet. But we are working on it!!
I went for my first dress fitting on Friday with Mom. Mom got some gorgeous photos - too bad I can't post them, because Peter will see them! :)
