Digital Life 2005

I am so excited about attending this year's Digital Life conference in New York city (http://www.digitallife.com/). We will be leaving by Amtrak tomorrow and getting into the city by about noon.

Some things I'm excited about: According to the Digital Life website, Kim Zimmer and Robert Newman (Soap stars from One Life to Live) will be there talking about Pod Casting in the Cosmo Lounge. Last year in the Cosmo lounge, Peter took my picture in front of a huge sized magazine so it looked like I was the cover model. It was pretty funny. :) Speaking of famous people, Carmen Electra is supposed to be there at some point. Hmmm... for all Peter has been talking about Digital Life he hasn't mentioned that. Hmm.. I wonder why. LOL. The Cosmo lounge sounds like it's right up my alley. They are going to have cocktails and free copies of Cosmo. I hope it's the November issue as mine STILL has not come in the mail yet. Grrr. They also have some interesting speakers going on. I really want to see the "Girls Just Want To Have Tech" presentation from 6-7 tomorrow night so I have to remember to remind Peter. Here's the description of the show: "Men buy technology for two reasons: because "it's cool" or "it makes them look cool" but women are much more complicated creatures. I'm really excited that each year we go to tech things more and more cool things are being developed for women. As far as cool tech things go, have you seen the new Sidekick 2? If it weren't for the fact that I like my Audiovox Smartphone, I would run not walk to get one of these. HOWEVER, if they are selling them at DigitalLife tomorrow, well, hmm, yeah, well I don't know! :)
