Tablet PCs and Seating Charts

Peter mentioned in a post a while back that wouldn't it be great if there some type of software developed for the tablet that would allow teachers to use it for seating charts. I can visualise this as being a really cool idea, and I would take it one step further...Make it part of a grading program. One where the teacher could take attendance, input grades, and have a seating chart. That way, the teacher could input the list of students names, then click on a "seating chart" button, and it would put the students names onto all of the little desks or tables... Maybe then you could have possible sort features where you could click a button, and then it would rearrange the students them by alpha (first or last name), or current average (to get the higher achieving students to be more spread out), or anything.
