.Mac and iDisk
On Friday, I finally signed up for .Mac. I have had a trial version that I let lapse (make that 2 trial versions), and I decided that I really wanted to try it out. So, I've couphed up the $99 and paid for my 1 year subscription.
This morning, I finished a homework assignment, writing a lesson plan using something called the KWL method and decided that I wanted to try using iDisk. When I finished my work, I saved it on my Powerbook, and then saved it again in my Documents folder on my iDisk. According to .Mac's "Sharing Files with iDisk" section, I simply need to download something at work called the iDisk Utility for Windows XP, and then it should be pretty simple to set up and access my files from work.
But now that I think about it, I'm starting to wonder, why should I bother with that? I can access my iDisk pretty quick by going to .Mac. Hmmm..I wonder.Well, I guess I'll figure that out when I'm back at work tomorrow.
