A complete girl geek, I love learning about new technologies, both educationally-related and otherwise. I love getting teachers excited about technology!
What I do...
I have been working in the field of Education since 2002. In the fall of 2003, I joined my current district, a vocational technical school district in Delaware. An Information Technology instructor, I'm also the advisor for a student business organization, BPA. An online instructor for eLearning Delaware, I most recently started teaching Microsoft Office 2007 certification classes at night to college students. Prior to working in education, I dabbled in the Communications field, working for three newspapers in various capacities.
After work...
I'm also a doctoral student at Wilmington University in their Educational Leadership program. I recently finished my coursework and plan to graduate as soon as possible during the summer of 2008. My dissertation discusses ways to improve technology integration professional development for school districts.
Everything Else...
In my massive amounts of free time (haha!), I enjoy spending time with my husband, traveling, reading various blogs, beta testing new gadgets, playing video games, taking tons of pictures, and playing with Photoshop.
